PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus
PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus is a high quality imageprocessing technology developed to precisely process each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc™ video signal in the vertical direction. It reproduces colour data with twice the accuracy of conventional systems to keep colours faithful and sharp.
ARC (Audio Return Channel)
The home theatre system is compatible with a new feature of ARC (Audio Return Channel). ARC allows receiving audio signals from the TV, on top of the preexisting HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV with just one cable. This new feature will simplify the connection by eliminating an audio cable connection between TV audio output and main unit’s audio input.

Smart Setup with only “Select & Listen”
Usually, home theatre system’s setting is extremely complicated. With Smart Setup, optimal settings can be easily made by simply following the TV’s on-screen instructions using Setup Mic. When you’re using a VIERA TV with VIERA Link (HDAVI Control 3 or above) compatibility, it’s even more convenient because the TV language and aspect ratio are automatically set. The Easy Setup Function (without Setup Mic) is also available for SC-BT230.
Fast Booting
The boot time from standby to power-on has been greatly reduced from prior models. With this improvement, movies can now be enjoyed with less stress by less waiting time.

Front Layout Mode
SC-BT735/BT230 is compatible with Front Layout Mode which allows 5.1ch surround sound with 5 speakers placed in the front. Even with space limitation, 5.1ch surround sound can be enjoyed with selectable speaker layout.
P4HD (Pixel Precision Progressive Processing)
P4HD processes more than 15 billion pixels per second and applies the optimal processing to every pixel. This allows it to render DVD movies in 1080p quality, express motion smoothly, and draw crisp diagonal lines.
High Precision 4:4:4
High precision 4:4:4 which reproduce the colour signals in horizontal directions with higher resolution have now further advanced. Not only faithfully reproduce details of Full HD movies in 1080p as filmmakers intended, concert and documentary films saved in 1080i are now reproduced with greater details than ever before.
VIERA Link
VIERA Link allows you to operate Blu-ray Disc™ players and home theatre systems with single VIERA TV remote control. With VIERA Link switching between multiple remote control are no longer necessary. Also there are features such as Auto Input Switching which changes the TV input automatically when you place discs into a player or home theatre system for more convenience.
Wireless Rear Speaker
The wireless system transmits the audio signals by radio waves, so there’s no need to run speaker cables from the main unit to the rear speakers. The signal also isn’t interrupted by people walking through the room or blocked by furniture.
* The SH-FX71 is required for wireless connection of the SC-BT735, SC-BT230 and SC-PT980. Transmission distance is limited. Performance will vary depending on room size and other conditions.
Networking
VIERA Link Reduces Power Consumption
With Standby Power Save, power consumption is automatically minimised when VIERA TV’s power is turned off with remote control. The Blu-ray Disc™ players are also compatible with Intelligent Auto Standby which puts Blu-ray Disc™ players into standby mode with Quick Start on when the input switches back to TV after movie finishes.

Low Power Consumption
A reduction in power consumption has been achieved compared with 2009 models. Panasonic Blu-ray Disc™ products are designed to consume as little as possible in order to save the natural resources.
